MiniMonos has raised NZD $800,000 (about US$500,000) for its kids virtual world. One of the most compelling aspects of virtual worlds is the ability create your own worlds. One of the problems with that is that modeling 3D objects requires a lot of skill and time. People want to bring their own physical world objects to the virtual world.
