OLX purchases virtual land for projects
A new era at OLX.
Thanks to the generous donations of members at OLX, we have reached the milestone to purchase Private Clusters on The OpenLife grid! This is a very exciting event for OLX and OpenLife residents will see many benefits as things are developed there.
The Clusters have been ordered and OLX now joins the line of people waiting for delivery.
One question that may come to mind is “why the need of clusters”? Well, OLX is designed to in the long run be much, much more than a social networking site. It is no secret that OLX has goals to offer in-world content delivery for ease of shopping. What many do not realize is that that is just one of many projects OLX has in mind.
With acquisitions of clusters some can be used to develop the ideals and others can be used to test them. This gives OLX a chance to see how the project(s) react on a typical Cluster. Members of OLX also own OpenLife Mainland that can be used for further testing of various projects. This gives OLX a great advantage in it’s quest to bring OpenLife users things that will enhance the user experience. Development and testing will begin shortly on some ideas and will grow as the capabilities of OpenLife grows.
OLX again wants to thank all who have supported this project to date and the future. Your help brought this closer at a faster rate than would have been possible before.
